Postage Costs Overseas (America/Asia/Australia)
Well, I know that nowadays the high postage costs are really a pain in the arse for every record collector who buys from foreign countries. Unfortunately the only thing I can do about it is to offer you really fair rates without trying to earn any extra money from it!!!
All my rates are strictly based on what the German post actually charges me... plus a few cents for solid packing (less than what I actually pay for it!).
I send out all orders with the German Post and the German postal service has a quite complicated system of rates and ways to carry records.
The following rates have proved to be the BEST and CHEAPEST. However, this can only be a rough guide, because the main factor is the actual weight of the records you want! Of course, this can vary from item to item
(a 220g Vinyl-LP in thick G/F-sleeve plus poster & insert compared to a 12" single in a simple paper-sleeve makes quite a difference!) and therefore, I will let you know the definite costs when sending my invoice.
Nevertheless, 99% of the time, the following rates are what you will have to pay...
Costs for Postage & Packing: Overseas (USA, Canada, Japan etc.)
- 1-7 x 7" , Registered airmail = Euro 6,50
- 8-16 x 7", Registered airmail = Euro 12,50
- 1 x LP , Registered airmail = Euro 6,50
- 2 x LP , Registered airmail = Euro 10,50
Larger orders: I will check it out and let you know!
Important:
Dimension 7 Records cannot be held responsible for any parcels lost/damaged in the mail, unless you have chosen the 'REGISTERED' method. Un-registered parcels cannot be traced in case you do not receive them in proper condition!
Furthermore, even 'REGISTERED' parcels are unfortunately only insured up to a value of Euro 35.00.
However, I have posted thousands of parcels in my life and cannot remember a lost registered one in many years - this is a pretty SECURE method!
If you wish to be completely on the safe side I can even send you a FULLY INSURED package! Please ask me - I will supply the rate (they are expensive), but this only makes sense with a large order and I'm sure that in this case we will probably arrange a special deal for you anyway!!!
